       为庆祝美国摇滚名人堂设立25周年，有众多重量级摇滚巨星和乐队加盟的两场马拉松演唱会分别于29日和30日在纽约举行。

　　在纽约麦迪逊广场花园举行的这两场演唱会上，众多老牌摇滚歌手和乐队纷纷登台亮相，同台演唱一首首熟悉的歌曲。参演的歌手有布鲁斯?斯普林斯汀、比利?乔尔、黑人歌星史蒂夫?旺德和滚石乐队主唱米克?贾格尔等，参演乐队包括爱尔兰摇滚乐队U2、E街乐队、黑眼豆豆乐队、CSN乐队和重金属摇滚乐队Metallica等。

　　仅29日晚的音乐会就持续了6小时，共演唱了50多首经典老歌。美国著名演员汤姆?汉克斯也出席了演唱会。美国HBO电视台进行了现场直播。

　　美国摇滚名人堂是西方摇滚乐界的成就奖，旨在表彰那些“对摇滚乐的演变和发展产生过重大影响”的艺术家，每年举行颁奖仪式。按照规则，艺人在推出首支单曲或首张唱片满25年后才有资格参评进入摇滚名人堂。
